I'm a pretty hardcore democrat, and it really irks me that this is the best person we could find to run for President. Not only that, but he's running against the best thing the Republicans could find to run as President. It's a lose-lose situation. I'm not even going to vote, because I have no preference between the two awful choices we're given. I'll let everyone else decide who we get stuck with.

we do need a "none (neither really) of these choices is acceptable" vote....

i'd love to participate more completely in the process, but i have issues with questions like "hang you or shot you,, but ya gotta pick one or the other" options...

That's a pretty sad point of view.[:/] There are more than two ways to vote as well. Why does everyone keep saying "I hate the Republican candidate, and I hate the Democratic candidate, so I don't care" ? Well, that lovely right to vote is very important, and you should exercise it when possible.

Have you even bothered to look at any other party? There are choices, people just keep getting stuck on Republicans or Democrats...:S...Plus, it sounds like, in general, people don't bother to do any homework on the candidates until the day they vote...I wonder if they put forth more effort in choosing their breakfast as opposed to voting for the president of the United States...B|:S[:/]

Nothing sad about not voting for a President. Only if she doesn't cast a ballot at all - lots else on the table in November.

Otherwise her non vote is mixed in with the 'too lazy to vote crowd,' a population group that politicians don't care one bit about.

That 'too lazy to vote crowd' makes me nausious...what the hell is the point of having the right if you don't utilize it? Come on people...get out there and let your point of view be known.

I have a little rule...I can't complain about who is in office if I didn't vote. Unfortunately, I won't tell you who got into the local mayors office and why the bitch drives me nucking futs...:S...::cough, cough::...Moving on...

You have made the right decision. Please tell all of your like-minded friends to do the same.

People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am

bwahahahah. i got that.

I'm gonna vote this year, (pre-second time in the presidential elections), and i still can't decide which of the two main contenders is better. hell, i really wouldn't want either of them as president. maybe i should vote for the skydiver...

Please DO vote. Despite the impression given by our arse-licking, self-serving political leaders, the rest of the world wants Bush out and we are relying on you guys to make it happen.
Whilst Bush and his band of lying, manipulating megalomaniacs are calling the shots the world is a far more dangerous place than it needs to be.

When did Bush quit as governor of Texas?

Aren't you always telling people to stop using what someone else did in the past to justify what another person is doing today?:)

No, you got it backwards.

The argument " he should resign his current position to run for X" just doesn't make sense.

After all, If applied equally, Bush would have to hand everything over to Mr Halliburton to re-run for his job. He's spending at least as much time on the trial.

Thta's actually a good idea. And I could vote third party, but come on . . . it'll be at least 20 years before a third party candidate even has a shot. I'm not wasting my vote. Seriously, though, if someone can give me a good reason to vote third party (impact on future politics or something of that nature), I'll be all about it. But I'm not gonna vote for some jackass to be President . . . and I shouldn't have to. It just bothers me, because there HAVE TO BE better options out there.

Both Democrats and Republicans pay attention to the distribution of votes. Every vote for a particular party sends a message - the more votes that any party gets the more that the other parties are likely to try and align themselves with that parties ideals. Good enough?

The only wasted vote is the vote not cast, don't waste yours. :S
