wmw999 2,589 #2 June 11, 2004 The closing statement was OK. I think she's absolutely right that nice people don't, by and large, wish ill to others. I try not to wish others ill. But I will also admit to having shared someone's last jar of cold war Russian Beluga caviar and vodka the night that Nixon resigned. But the author spent a lot of time bashing "the error of her formerly liberal ways" rather than stating what she was for. Wendy W.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence.
