SS and MEDICARE are going to drive the deficits higher than projected - I guarantee it.

Why should I trust your economic prediction any more than "deficit will be small and short lived" or "the economy will create 2.7M new jobs in 2003" as predicted by your hero GWB?

Uh....SS fiasco? What does that have to do with income taxes and the deficit. The SS program in still in the black, for now. It is self funded and has higher revenues than outlays.

Well then maybe Bush shouldn't have put together a medicaid package that will cost way more than he let congress know before the vote and even ordered people not to disclose the true costs of until after the vote.

Maybe Bush should live up to his campaign promise of revamping SS, and securing its funds instead of raiding its surpluses.

What does SS have to do with the deficit? Learn more. The link you posted has as much to do with SS shortfall projections over next few years than ALGORE did with discovering Love Canal.

You might want to. The current SS SURPLUS is used to REDUCE the size of the deficit. If SS were taken out of the picture, the deficit would be even LARGER.

Yeah, I admit his medicaid package costs a lot. GWB is the one that didn't admit, in fact activley hid that fact until after it got approved. In fact used some of that money to air propaganda pieces disguised as legitimate news items to promote it.

As far as Kerry socializing medicine, where did you get that sound bite from, Coulter? Have you read his health care plan? It's actually a series of tax credits for PRIVATE health insurance.
