Skyrad 0 #1 June 2, 2004 Yep, thats right, I'm 100% behind the US on this policy and cant belive the UK and Europe were even considering arming China! http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/afp/20040602/pl_afp/us_eu_china_arms_040602072050 People knock America for being uninformed about whats going on outside their country but this is a good example of how Europe controls and spins its media. I couldn't find anything about this story in the British press! When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Gawain 0 #2 June 2, 2004 Well, if France, Germany, UK and the rest of the EU want to experience their own curtailment of US technology as a result, then by all means, go ahead. I think its funny how they can simply "forget" Tiananmen Square, lessons of the Cold War and the fact that China doesn't really need to buy this stuff anyway. They already build most of their own. 5 million man standing army, and the EU wants to feed it.So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! markd_nscr986 0 #3 June 2, 2004 I do not trust the PRC........and I make every effort NOT to buy any products made in PRC.A lot of their products are made using slave/and or convict labour, they trash the enviroment, they have made Tibet a part of their "cultural revolution" and massacred tens of thousands of Tibetans in the processand now the EU wants to help them in their quest for new and improved armaments?Unbelievable!Marc SCR 6046 SCS 3004

Should be a lesson for anyone.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.
Trent 0 #5 June 2, 2004 Yeah, we clearly sold them all those US made AK-47s and Mirage jets they used to have. We also sold them the Russian tanks they used to have. Maybe France and Russia want to look at all the trouble they caused by supplying Iraq with weapons in the late 80's till who-knows-when.Oh, hello again! And don't forget all the weapons that we supplied Iran in the 1970's. And that we sent Tom Cruise to train the Japanese (who would later attack us in 1941) back in the early 20th or late 19th century. My wife is hotter than your wife.
