TheAnvil 0 #26 May 27, 2004 Try this on: I am short. That's right. I admit it. I'm short. For YEARS tall people have been trying to keep shorty down - regardless of race. Plus, I have blond hair. If you're short, it's bad enough, but if you're short AND have blond hair you are really hated. Some people even call you JACKASS all of the time. Now add to that the fact that I'm a geek with a penchant for tequila, and you have the most persecuted minority on earth. That's right, I love math and science and tequila. And I'm short with blond hair. Short blond haired geeks in: the NBA? - 0 NFL? - 0 NHL? - 0 Pro baseball? - 0 PGA? - I suspect - 0 Porn stars? - 0 As you can see, all of the cool jobs have ZERO short blond haired geeks in them. Obvious persecution. I sent my resume in to the LAKERS, and when I called to confirm its receipt they laughed at me and hung up. Granted, sending a picture along with it and having the 'NO BASKETBALL SKILL OR EXPERIENCE' bullet on there probably wasn't the smartest thing to do. However, it's just another prime example of the world trying to keep shorty down. I've had it! I'm looking for a lawyer to take up my case. I want short blond haired tequila guzzling geeks equally represented in all facets of society - including professional sports! As soon as I make my well deserved billions, I'll buy my own golf cart and tequila importation business! Muuuuuuuhhhuuuhahahahahahahahaaa! Woe is me. Michele 1 #27 May 27, 2004 HAH, Jer, beat this... I was adopted. On my adoption papers, I was identified as English and Dutch, Lutheran religion. My parents raised me up with a cultural identity to match English Dutch Lutheran. My (adoptive) Dad is a Polish/Romanian/Russian Jew, my (adoptive) Mom is French Spanish Episcopal. My (adoptive) brother (who was also adopted) is Italian and Irish, Catholic (no kidding...). In my parents' attempt to give my brother and I an historic grounding, we studied each nation's history, and grew up with an understanding of the Jewish, Lutheran, Catholic, and Episcopal religions. Then I searched and found my birth family. Turns out I'm Scots, Irish, and American Indian (Tennessee Cherokee nation), and born Catholic. I beat your tale of woe - I was DENIED my cultural heritage until I was 25, and also any claim I could make on my Indian heritage (the adoption papers screw me up there....despite the real truth...). Know what I figured out somewhere along the line? I'm American. diablopilot 2 #28 May 27, 2004 QuoteYes....but by and large minorities don't have as much power as whites. That's the point. I dissagree. As "minorities" they hold great power through lobbying, media attention, ect. As amatter of fact those at the forefront of the minority organizations (often the ones crying out against the actions of the majority the loudest) would have the most to loose by true "equality". Kinda like bad Union reps.....they're out of a job if everyone is happy.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously. They may be the most visible, but that doesn't mean they have power. I'm sure the majority of blacks would be truly upset that the few loud mouths in the lime light lost their jobs in exchange for equality. What a ridiculous concept. happythoughts 0 #33 May 27, 2004 Quotethe Polish (we have a well defined class of jokes too) The sad part is that only 25% of the jokes have any basis in fact. I think it all started during WWII when the Polish cavalry charged the German tanks.

Tall people are totally excluded from horse action. Oh, there are short, blonde people in porn - but they're women. There is opportunities, but it would involve wearing a wig and being interested in tall men.

TheAnvil 0 #36 May 28, 2004 Jockies. Oh yeah. They ride the horse and get no credit for their skills in doing so. All the credit goes to the horse. No big $$ being a jockey. Just another way society keeps the short man down. Well I've HAD it! I saw that episode of STRIPERELLA where Small Fry shrinks people! It's time for some action! SHORT POWER!
