TheAnvil 0 #1 April 28, 2004 ...'asshole'...and 'sonofabitch'. That's what the folks who made some of the comments here must be trying to do. Disgusting. Guess how they're going to cast their vote. AggieDave 6 #3 April 28, 2004 Wow, the extreme-liberals are getting frisky! Whats the point in being a bleeding heart liberal if you alienate the people that they're trying to "protect" from the evil conservatives by outcasting their slain heros?--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." nacmacfeegle 0 #4 April 28, 2004 Okay, the concept of "Dulce et decorum est, pro patri mori" slipped from fashion around the time of the writing of the poem of the same name. This is no reason to disrespect a fallen soldier though. I guess I might be classified as an extreme liberal, far centre? But I share your disgust at this 'dumb jock' headline.-------------------- He who receives an idea from me, receives instruction himself without lessening mine; as he who lights his taper at mine, receives light without darkening me. WrongWay 0 #5 April 28, 2004 I heard about this on the radio. It's kinda funny how this "dumb jock" was a dean's list student in college. This guy had a job making millions playing football and gave it all up for his country. If these people want to slam on an obviously amazing person who gave his life for what he believed in, giving up fame and fortune to do it, then they should either get off their asses and sign up or keep their fucking mouths shut. Perhaps they'd like to go there and tell these folks their opinions in person when they return.Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!! wmw999 2,589 #9 April 28, 2004 There's a difference between liberals and extremists, just as there's a difference between conservatives and extremists. These folks are losers and small-minded idiots, and I sincerely hope the reaction they'll get in the long run will prove it. They're right up there with folks who want to bomb Afghanistan/Iraq/Palestine/wherever into the stone age, only they have a name to attack, and not just a concept or country. I agree...and what I meant by calling them "hardcore liberals" is that they believe that they tote the liberal line, but have a rather warped point of view of the world, like extremists of all kinds. ~R+R~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Fly the friendly skies...^_^...})ii({...^_~...
