lawrocket 3 #1 April 27, 2004 From CNN Atlanta, Georgia In another sign of troubling job losses, unemployment figures appear that they will rise yet again. Anecdotal evidence reveals that the current market is bleak and confusing, adding to the already troubled Bush economy. On a web message board, some have resorted to posting in their efforts to find a job. "Anybody in Atlanta have a job opening at their company" she asked in a desperate plea for employment. She later added, "Because I seriously cannot take it anymore...I'm ready to be po' as hell" "Anyone know of openings for a senier java developer with 6 years experience" asked another poster to the board, indicating the lack of jobs in the hard hit technology sector since Bush took office. "geeez its an epidemic!" stated another poster. Sources close to the Kerry campaign viewed the online session with interest. One source, seeking to remain anonymous, stated, "one person indicated that there are jobs in Rhode Island. Clearly, the Bush Campaign must be worried about its prospects if it can only point to Rhode Island for future hopes." In a response, a junior Bush Committee spokesman stated, "These are people who are looking at quitting jobs, and many looking for alternatives to employment." A response from the Kerry campaign stated, "It only goes to show how low the Bush campaign will go. These people are clearly desperate to play politics and put their own spin on a desperate situation affecting American workers. Obviously, these people will represent job losses."
