Skyrad 0 #1 April 11, 2004 To American Hostage Thomas Hamill. I saw him on the news last night. A car pulls up on a dusty high road and masked Iraqi fighters get out to reveal a middle aged man in sitting in the back of the car. He was being coerced into talking to the Australian camera man by the gunmen but was having none of it. He showed remarkable composure, bravery and dignity in the situation . Almost certainly being driven to his death he showed resolve and courage rarely seen. I hope he lives to see his release. I for one salute a very brave man. When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. christelsabine 1 #2 April 11, 2004 this poor man was shown in our news-tv this morning. i saw mortal terror in his eyes. his lips were dry as he was forced to tell his name. it makes me cry to see such a hopeless face... is it worth to waste a precious life? how many more will be thrown away? for which idea? sad, so sad. dudeist skydiver # 3105
Skyrad 0 #3 April 11, 2004 They tried to force him to say his name and he would not. Then eventualy he did but only when the Australian cameraman asked him. Was he scared? Who wouldn't be? But courage is not the absence of fear, its the overcoming of it.When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. christelsabine 1 #4 April 11, 2004 sorry, i still see this different. not all of us are born to be a hero. obviously, he wasn't born for that. he did his very best in this moment when the Australien asked him. in this moment he felt hope. help for him to survive. the moment you talk, you do not kill. surely, he was feeling this. feel so sad for this guy. let's wait for the news tomorrow. probably, you are right with your pm. christel dudeist skydiver # 3105
FallRate 0 #5 April 12, 2004 I'd be in favor of hiring a couple of Russian "advisors" to help us deal with the hostage situation. FallRate

And so, if the media were not there to film this - how sensational do you think it would be?I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
