turtlespeed 226 #4 March 30, 2004 It's just argument that raises the blood pressure - some people like that cuz it is an adrenalyn rush.I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
AggieDave 6 #5 March 30, 2004 What do jumpers talk about around the fire with some beer in hand at the end of the day? Everything, including religion, skydiving, politics, guns, love life, music, well, basically, everything! That's what Talk Back is, everything. What do you do if you're around the fire with some folks and you don't like what their talking about (guns for example), then you make an excuse and walk away, right? Same thing here, but its easier, you just don't click on the thread.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Antithesis 0 #6 March 30, 2004 Although these threads have put me in a mood lately because it seems like there are sooo many of them, I enjoy actual conversations on the subjects above. The key is Actual conversations, Implying that people are actually exchanging information with each other. Who knows, Maybe I'm jaded. These threads seem to be repetitive at best with mostly the same avitars barking at each other over and over about the same things. I rarely click on them anymore because of this. I know that this aint no damn democracy, i just want to know what everyone else thinks fairly. rehmwa 2 #7 March 30, 2004 They are getting tired and repetitive, they repeat, they are redundant, they say the same thing over and over. and over however, this is a talk back. And they are fun. I suspect the SM is tired of moderating these - can't blame him. Perhaps a separate Talk Back 2 and this one moderated by those guys who seem to get into it more (like BV and Q?) - or get a new moderator for that area who's still interested in that kind of stuff. ... newsstand 0 #8 March 30, 2004 The funny thing about that one was that although it had the standard heading it was starting to be about tarrifs and their impact on our country. Not something I have seen, although I have not done a search for it. This one could have been interesting. "Truth is tough. weegegirl 2 #9 March 30, 2004 I don't even open 'em anymore cuz they're all the same. But that's just me and I hate politics. I guess I just don't give a rats ass if they stay or go. Just don't be so hard on the moderators. That seams like a tough job. And this site rocks. Let's not forget that.
flyangel2 2 #10 April 5, 2004 I think I'll like them better, now that they have their own forum. Good job HH and mods.
