Steel 0 #488 September 11, 2003 QuoteQuoteNobody can hold a meaningful position in the Catholic faith who does not speak Latin...... ------------------------ Interesting guess but totally inaccurate try again. Really. A meaningful position is a priest, a bishop a cardinal? They do not need any Latin? I am sorry but a few words here and there and a working knowledge are two different things. Try finding a Muslim School that does not have fluent Arabic speaking teachers. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. PhillyKev 0 #492 September 11, 2003 Actually, this discussion started with you wanting to commit genocide, and us trying to figure out how you justify that. All of the twists and turns are of your own design trying to come up with some legitimate reason for wiping out 2 billion people. I'll ask again. Post one single reference, besides yourself, for any of the claims that you've made. Doesn't the fact that you can't do that say something to you? Amazon 7 #493 September 11, 2003 Quote I am a true Latin somebody whose ancestors (spoke Latin, ALL OF MY ANCESTORS). I bet none of those pesky Moors got in a gene or two... Me thinks this sort of equates to the Dominican Republic.. The Spanish brought many many Africans there to work the cane fields as slaves...and some of the most African looking people I have seen... with Spanish names... try to distance themselves from ANY form of African descent. Please dig up that post where I said I wanted to wipe out 2 Billion people. I don't believe you can. You know why? Cause I never said it. That kind of makes it hard to find a reason to respond when you making stupids statements like that. I believe I said to outlaw the faith and that when it got specific I said not to outlaw it but to stop making excuses for it. Now see how you could spin that.If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. mikkey 0 #497 September 11, 2003 QuoteIraq and Al Queda had ties Nope, not proven. Even GWB admitted that. Or as an English expert in Terorism said in front of the Commons Foreign Affairs Select committee: Prof Wilkinson dismissed suggestions there was a link between Saddam Hussein's regime and al-Qaeda. "The story that there was a collaboration between them was dreamed up in Washington," he said. "I don't know who dreamed it up but I have found no substance to it." You are just all over the place. PhillyKev 0 #498 September 11, 2003 Sorry, you're right. You just want to ban their religious beliefs, not kill them. Ok, so I'll ammend my post: Actually, this discussion started with you wanting to ban Islam, and us trying to figure out how you justify that. All of the twists and turns are of your own design trying to come up with some legitimate reason for supressing the religious beliefs of 2 billion people. I'll ask again. I could just sit back and let you do some research so that when you come back trying to spin a statement I made, I could just point out my facts from your own research. There were Al Queda groups in Iraq.. in the Northern Kurdish areas... so obviously there were terrorists in Iraq that had ties to Iraq..... There were Numerous Cells... in America... so by that logic.. there are ties to Al Queda to the US as well..... BUZZZZZZZ.... wrong assumption on both ....
