wmw999 2,560 #2 March 23, 2009 I know they're having a raffle for a flat-screen TV... It's mostly people making first tandem jumps, obviously. But if you give Spaceland a call I'm sure they can put you in touch with the organizers. They've had a table out a couple of times when I was there for the raffle... DanG 1 #3 March 23, 2009 Cool. It sounds like a great event. I've been half-heartedly been trying to do something similar with a tunnel trip, but admit I haven't put enough effort into it. I'm suprised this didn't get out to the amputee skydiving community (all like 25 of us). The article implies there will be amputee skydivers there. If I'd known about this ahead of time, I might have made the trip. - Dan G

Stephen 0 #5 March 26, 2009 We did this once before in 2007 with great success. This Saturday there will be 110 from their group doing tandems, cooking, moon walks for the kids, and more fun fun fun.
GAskygirl 31 #6 April 8, 2009 I can't speak for the planning of the event, but here's a little on what went on. It was very cool to work with this group! http://www.skydivespaceland.com/news.php#amputees Blue Skies! -=Christy=- D-21464
