skreamer 1 #38 February 26, 2001 Tell me about it - could getting off (newbie) status be the Holy Grail of the net? Years from now we will tell our children of how we searched for it and replied until our mice could click no more, all to no avail.Actually, I am coming down with the flu, so I think I will take the day off work tomorrow and just keep on posting to this thread. And I am just about sad enough to do it too...It's a pity because I had been planning on saving all my sick leave for the summer, what a waste!
SKY 0 #39 February 26, 2001 think of all the hard work that went into it....I think it will be worth it anyways

skreamer 1 #43 February 26, 2001 You guys should have a listen to 'Oxygen' by JJ72 (v. good young irish band). It is my prediction to be the next tandem video anthem (like you *really* wanted to hear Van Halen AGAIN). You can get it off Napster, speaking of which...
skreamer 1 #44 February 26, 2001 How do you guys feel about Napster?Good, bad or don't give a hoot? How would you feel if you were one of the artists whose tracks was being downloaded? Many artists are pro-Napster because the labels take the biggest cut anyway./sps picking a fight didn't work, so now I am trying the *mature* route to generate some replies
SKY 0 #45 February 26, 2001 napster is wonderful. well designed, and user friendly
SKY 0 #46 February 26, 2001 gotta run mabey tomorrow I can "get off" of newbie status
AggieDave 6 #47 February 26, 2001 Well, seeing how (with ALL costs included like studio fees, etc) it costs record labels about a buck $1 (USD) to make each CD and we're still charged anywhere from USD 15-20 to buy it, I'm a big fan of Napster, OpenNap, Gnutella and all of those p2p's. It's also got me listening to a ton of different genres that I would have never started listening to if I had to buy the CD.AggieDave '02-------------Blue Skies and Gig'em Ags!BTHO t.u. cyberskydive 0 #48 February 26, 2001 NAMESERVE.NET is the host, Apache, and latest Php insalled, this forum script is really quick as well. I have a VERY awesome host and I have seen other forum scripts get "cloggy" and slow. This one seems to be handling the traffic tremendously! AggieDave 6 #50 February 26, 2001 So, when we get off of Newbie status does that mean we'll get pie'd and have to buy beer? AggieDave '02-------------Blue Skies and Gig'em Ags!BTHO t.u.
