Deleted 0 #1 March 4, 2001 I am a little confused. How is it that one (1) DZ can be listed in three (3) states. ASC (which ever name you associate with it) has 3 separate listings all claiming to be "in" each of its states. Wonder what the soldiers of the civil war would have thought if they captured a confederate who was from 3 different states. They probably would have thought he was totally confused and probably shot him on principle. Anyhow, I am just upset at what this world is coming to. Sorry.Without getting personal, I am just wondering if this bothers anyone else. Who is this "guy" really trying to fool?Makes me sort of regret jumping there. Brokeneagle 0 #2 March 4, 2001 Anyone who doesn't know the real facts... the people unlucky enough to live in those states that don't know the truth!
cyberskydive 0 #3 March 5, 2001 Well its sad to say the least, I jump in Georgia, and I believe I know a great deal of the people who jump there, or I have met them at one time or another. The sad truth is that there are is probably only one or two people responsible for the whole advertising strategy, and most jumpers, even the ones who jump there probably didnt even know this was going on untill mr Vance spoke up on rec. Then we have the new jumpers, the first timers and the general public. What in the world are they gonna think? I'm sure you can imagine. Seems everyone knows about this for the most part now, word has spread fast. But these people outside of the skydiving community just get duped. Which sucks. WOnder how many people have not spoken up yet that have driven an extra 3 hours, didnt get their moneys worth, or got skimmed on the advertised altitude. blah blah blahYes this disturbs me D.Chisolm C-28534webmaster@sunraydesigns.comhttp://www.sunraydesigns.com
