Loads of GA skydivers online

I noticed that there are quite a few GA skydivers online here. I also noticed that the largest number are from Skydive Atlanta. There are also several from Skydive Monroe. The other two DZ's seem to be virtually unrepresented.
If we get a few more maybe we can talk Mike & Dawn into having a dropzone.com corner in the hangar like the Atlanta Freeflight people. LOL

Date: March 24-25
Place: Skydive Atlanta in Thomaston, GA
At a minimum we should have a twin otter to jump from (and a Cessna 182 if you prefer). I already have another batch of friends that are going to be there that weekend for first jumps.
If you can't find me there just ask for Phil. All my gear is black and royal blue. I have a black Dolphin with royal blue logo and pop top. My jumpsuits are also black and royal blue.
They have a bunkhouse and camping for those who are interested.
This should be loads of fun.

hey guys,
i was up in thomaston this weekend. racheal siad the next boogie she knows of is the easter boogie. i haven't jump there yet but i plan on it as soon as i heal, and go through some refresher jumps wiht my aff coach,billy weber.
seems like a good place to jump. and its not an unknown dz either. I'll be jumping there on occassion when im back upo to par.
as fo rthe 24-25 i'll still be in ny. maybe i'll catch ya's at the easter boogie.

Unless the weather completely sucks for the entire weekend I will definitely be there and will probably stay all weekend. I try to be there when my friends are doing a first jump and so far I have four of them doing so that weekend.

You certainly picked the wrong weekend to drive up. The weather was aweful. Did they even get a single load in?
Mike & Dawn were still out of the country and left Rachel in charge. I think they should be back before this weekend.
I hear that Billy Weber is an awesome skydiver. I wonder if he's ever going to come out with a new version of Pack Like a Pro that includes things like psycho packing, and better techniques for dealing with ZP canopies.

i sure fell lucky to have learned from billy he's definitely a good instuctor/skydiver and person. I still gotta find out what stuff he's got that is available for students/anyone who needs info.
but i didnt actually drive to thomaston to jump. I'm still healing froma "frisbee accident" (sound horrible doesn't itmy dad lives in forsyth and while i was planning on checking out the dz,again, i figured i'd hang out with my dad for the weekend.he's cool enough to hang out with when im in town so i figured what the hell, well swing ove rot the dz.and even though the weather sucked ,BIG TIME,i couldn't have jumped anyway.
but when im good enuff to jump i will be in thomaston when ever i get a chance. maybe i' catch ya's there

well triple f, that's cool. i can't wait to jump again and once i do i'll get in touch with ya and we'll figure out a weekend that we;ll both be able to jump in thomaston etc.

Naaw, it wasn't tomatoes... it was Vidalia onions, remember?? And no, I'm saving them to eat raw, for a special occasion, like when you come to Thomaston.... nothing like a good farting contest on the ride upstairs.

So you are trying to torture us with odors out of both ends? I hope to see ya'll at the dropzone.com boogie on the 24th (two weeks). Don't worry about the smells, I have a full face helmet to protect me.
