froggie 0 #1 March 15, 2001 hey guys. Weve had some really informative threads going here lately. This is a real benifit to me, because of where Im at as far as my skydiving goes. Its really been benificial to hear your stories and how you handled all the different situations. Im at the point where all i want to do is read articles, listen to stories, ask questions and discover all that I can about the technical aspects of skydiving. I haven’t been registered for very long, so I haven’t posted very much, but I’ve been following all the threads for a while and I’m totally addicted to the forum. I made it through AFF level 3, but that was 2 summers ago and I’ve been wanting (desperately) to jump again ever since. Something always comes up (read: broke again), but I’ve learned a lot from everybody here, not to mention laughed my ass off more times than I can count! I really miss being up in the sky, but at least all you guys help me remember what I’m working my ass off for. I will jump again! GIVE ME ALTITUDE OR GIVE ME DEATH! Thanks! Dont take this the wrong way but I especailly enjoy reading about the mals that people have because it reassures me that they do happen and as long as you have the training you can avoid some and/or be able to handle and walk away from others. Nice distraction from the rigours of work, and a great place to get tips and advice from the more experienced jumpers... plus a good place to just "chute the shit" with the other jumpers...
