sangiro 26 #1 March 19, 2001 1600 miles later.... much fun was had by all! Great road trip. Vegas was...well...Vegas! And we all know whatever happens in Vegas stays in Vegas But to use the cliche - it was about the journey, not the destination. Down the California Central Valley, into the Sequoia National Park (and into the snow!) back down into the valley, through the Sierra's, up the back, through Death Valley, into Vegas, back through the Mojave dessert, onto the coast, sleep over at Cayucos and up HWY 1 to San Francisco...Saw some amazing sights, met some great people, ran a lot of road. I dropped a few images on the web for those of you who may be interested. No foot-notes so enjoy and ask if there's one you want to know more about. I'll remove these again after a few weeks. Good to be back!Vegas Road Trip GallerySafe swoopsSangiro

skybytch 273 #3 March 19, 2001 You stayed in Cayuseless! Heh heh... I usedta live in Cambria (can-bore-ya) and San Simeon, just a few miles north of there... in fact if you rode up 1 you passed right by the house I grew up in. Nice route choice for the ride home, hwy 1 is SO pretty once you get north of San Luis.{smile]pull and flare, lisa

freaksister 0 #11 March 20, 2001 Hey San,great pics! I am a shutterbug myself, so I dig looking at pics. (One reason I have GOT to learn to fly and do photography and video in freefall!) Anyway, as others have said, it is great to have you back. I am not surprised at the 1400+ posts on the forums! I go out of town to jump for two days and come back to anywhere from 150-300 new posts! Geezus, people, ya'll are as talkative as me! LOL! (that's why I love ya!)Well, I am glad the forums didn't collapse under the weight of the new posts while you were gone and you didn't mysteriously dissapear out in the desert...yeah, I believe in some of those consipiracy theories!! hahahaBlue Ones,Sis
wildblue 7 #12 March 20, 2001 Nice. I'm very jealous - that looks like an awesome ride! I like the picture with the 5 feet of snow on the side of the road, that's nutty! Very cool sunset shot too... ok.. I need to stop looking... self torture is wrong. Those BMWs? Nice looking bikes (and from what I hear, very nice riding bikes)

Pammi 0 #14 March 20, 2001 Those are some really gorgeous pics Sangiro. Someone (you?) has some talent with the camera. Those aren't the ordinary touristy sort of photos, but rather artistic! Thanks for sharing Pammi
