Best Tandem Master Suit??

Recommended Posts

I am getting ready to buy a jumpsuit specifically for doing tandems. I'm looking at a big floppy suit with no booties & no "wings." What are y'all using out there . . . any suggestions? I would especially appreciate comments regarding durability of specific brands of suit used for this purpose. Thanks!

Alot of the tandem masters at my dropzone use big ol- heavy double-zippered suits like the ones found in Paragear, both for themselves and for the students. They have lasted foprever so far-LOL and that has been just for the 5 years I've been jumping. I forget the brand name. I'm prolly goin to the dz tommorow and I'll get ya then name and some info if ya want?

I used a Air Time Tony Suit lookalike - it was baggy on me in the arms and legs and gave me a little extra control. I know one instructor who swears by booties, also for additional control. She's not real tall though; if you are tall you probably won't need them. Get padded knees and the cordura knees and butt if you order something custom; it will be well worth the extra money, especially if you jump out of aircraft without benches.
pull and flare,
