skreamer 1 #1 April 5, 2001 Hi guysI've been all concerned lately about putting money away to jump, buy a new rig the end of the year, go to Quincy etc. etc. Then today my company laid off just over 60 people (we were only about 350 employees). I have been friends with some of these people for over 2 years. Anyway, the good news is my job is safe, but the bad news is I had to see friends with families to support and mortgages turn into total zombies. They will work until the 20th then the company is paying them off with the absolute least they could get away with legally. Then the further good news, is that I have to monitor these people on the network until they leave and disable accounts as and when appropriate. Plus getting security to escort them off the premises if necessary. I know there are worse things in life than losing your job, but there are also worse things than not being able to afford skydiving. The ironic thing is that it is probably going to take a couple of jumps to get me over this shit.Sorry, I'll stop whining now and carry on posting the usual crap. Will
