Tee 0 #77 April 11, 2001 Quote So I got it redone because I really really wanted one and it stayed infected so I finally took it out. Hey Pammi. The first time I got my navel peirced I waited 6 months and it still didn't heal, so I took it out and tried again a month later with a gold ring (as opposed to surgical steel) and to my amazement, it healed within a month and a half! So, if you do decide to try again, give gold a try.I do agree that tattoos are addictive, if they weren't so darm permanent, I would have more. I have one on my lower back, this way I can show it off when I want, but also hide it when I need to as well. They do hurt to get, but still are somehow addictive. Well after she got done closing up my wife she told me "by the way I didnt cut that tat". I thought DOWH!! O'well thats whats nice about having double ins coverage, cut or no cut we werent paying for it!!!jason
 Pammi 0 #80 April 12, 2001 Quote"by the way I didnt cut that tat"*laughing* Got told the same thing Jason :) The doc who removed a lump from my breast tried to be nice by being careful not to cut the tat there. I honestly hadn't really thought about it...other things on my mind to worry about, but he was really proud of himself and I appreciated it later.
