Hi Erica-
My name is Andrea and I've been involved in skydiving for about a year. I live in the Orlando area, and jump in Deland now. I haven't been out to Clewiston and didn't even know they had a DZ there. Maybe we can hook up sometime. I'd love to meet you!

Um, between you and me you should be careful about saying stuff like that here, because some of these guys are totally immature and will try to take advantage of you (DOWN FFF DOWN!!!). However you can totally trust me, I am the only decent, trustworthy guy on this forum!

Hello Erika. My name is fruce. I will be here if and when you need me. Unlike some others, I would never take advantage of such a sweet young innocent girl like yourself. I'm glad to hear that you are "open to everything else", it will make the learning process go along quite nicely. Well then, I will be looking forward to seeing your posts. Oh, how rude of me......... welcome to the dark side child.;)

Hi Erica. Those guys are just giving ya a warm welcome - they're harmless (mainly because they are far away, in places like Europe, and Georgia ... wait a sec - Georgia ISN'T very far is it... you better hide your pins and your pull-ups, Erica!
I hope you find this forum as entertaining as I do.

erica, good to meet you and happy to see that you fell down the rabbit hole and ended up at the dropzone.com forums! My name is chris and my job sux. I do telephone support for IBM and mostly read forums. The only time i relax is skydiving and gettin drunk w/ all my wuffo friends ( which can be REAL frustrating because they dont like me talking about skydiving and I get bored listing to the same stories they tell over and over again. ) Im starting to meet more and more ppl at the dz ( skydive chicago ) but cant really party w/ them because its too damn cold to sleep in a tent and i live far from the dz. Im looking foward to this summer! I myself am a young ( 19 ) and new to this sport ( 25 jumps).

Hehe. I guess I am pretty lucky. Its not easy coming up with the money to skydive when you are 16. I had a lot of help from my mom. But it has all been worth it. Here I am, 18 years old, with 225 jumps and my D license, not that I'm rubbing it in or anything. Hehe. Ok, maybe just a little. But age doesn't matter. Its all about the sport. Skydive forever!!
Safe landings,
