Kirils 1 #14 April 12, 2001 Well Kid, take a bit of advise from an old dude...get yourself over to Skyventure in Orlando. Wind tunnel training there is fantastic and nothing will help delvelop belly fly skills faster!

fruce 0 #16 April 12, 2001 Hello Erika. My name is fruce. I will be here if and when you need me. Unlike some others, I would never take advantage of such a sweet young innocent girl like yourself. I'm glad to hear that you are "open to everything else", it will make the learning process go along quite nicely. Well then, I will be looking forward to seeing your posts. Oh, how rude of me......... welcome to the dark side child. frucehttp://www.fruce.com

Iflyme 0 #19 April 12, 2001 Hi Erica. I hope you find this forum as entertaining as I do.Frank

Slowfaller 0 #23 April 12, 2001 erica, good to meet you and happy to see that you fell down the rabbit hole and ended up at the dropzone.com forums! My name is chris and my job sux. I do telephone support for IBM and mostly read forums. The only time i relax is skydiving and gettin drunk w/ all my wuffo friends ( which can be REAL frustrating because they dont like me talking about skydiving and I get bored listing to the same stories they tell over and over again. ) Im starting to meet more and more ppl at the dz ( skydive chicago ) but cant really party w/ them because its too damn cold to sleep in a tent and i live far from the dz. Im looking foward to this summer! I myself am a young ( 19 ) and new to this sport ( 25 jumps). blue skies, cold beerchris
Cacophony 0 #24 April 12, 2001 Hehe. I guess I am pretty lucky. Its not easy coming up with the money to skydive when you are 16. I had a lot of help from my mom. But it has all been worth it. Here I am, 18 years old, with 225 jumps and my D license, not that I'm rubbing it in or anything. Hehe. Ok, maybe just a little. But age doesn't matter. Its all about the sport. Skydive forever!!Safe landings,Alex D-23912
SkySlut 0 #25 April 12, 2001 I think that its safer for younger people to hang out at the DZ rather than anywhere else...granted there is some "odd" behavior at the DZ but it is usually in check and relatively healthy...-Slut"I'll jump anything!"
