Albatross 0 #1 April 13, 2001 I am getting my stuff together to visit the family for the Easter weekend and dreading the lectures about not coming home and jumping. Why is it that mom always has to tell me that I should live my life in a padded room so that I never get hurt. They just don't understand (except my 12 year old brother) and are always telling me that I am wasting my time and money. Sorry I just had to vent, I am going to spend two days nodding and smiling when they say shit like "I don't get how someone so smart can jump out of airplanes!"Blue Skys and Safe LandingsAlbatross

Viking 0 #4 April 13, 2001 i am kinda lucky in a way b/c my mom is the only person in my family that hasn't jumped or doesn't want to. even my step grandfather was in the Royal Canadian Para Troopers or somthing like that. but she is starting to accept the fact that this is somthing i want to do. But i know i will catch hell everytime i go home. Guess its a good thing i am on the west coast and she is in Louisiana

mountainman 0 #9 April 13, 2001 I am pretty lucky too in the fact that my dad will be doing his first tandem jump 5 May. I can't wait to see his ass looking down at the ground from 13.500. MUHAHAHA!!! Not only that, but my bro (16) and my sis (13) cannot wait to be old enough (and have the $$$) to it. God they are fun!Blue skiesBrandon and Laurahttp://home.woh.rr.com/brandonandlaura/a work in progress
