I would love to jump with any and all of you, regardless of our differences. I suppose it'd have to be Dubya 'cos he's the most experienced (by one jump!!?).Then it's getting the aircraft. I suppose that the entire supply of C-5s & AN-72s "should" supply the lift capacity for our great leaders AND their bodyguards!!WHat really worries me is the post dive debrief!!! Remember these guys control armies!!! Germany accuses France of going low, France hotly denies this saying it was Holland that "went low" (little Euro joke there). China tries to blame the American bodyguard for the freefall collision & won't give the US their main or freebag back. Saddam exits & doesn't even get the first point 'cos he's too busy tracking away from the video guy in the "UN blue" jumsuit. No-one will dock onto the Brits 'cos of fear of infection from the pigskin gloves & Cowhide frappe-hat. Gaddafi spends the entire ride up farting in the 'plane. Columbia wants to do a "smoke" jump but no one will let them take their "white powder" canister on the 'plane. Castro INSISTS on doing the pre-jump brief at dawn & they still haven't emplaned by midnight. Canada wants the key in Frence first, then in English (that's why the French guy went low on everybody else...No... Perhaps not such a good idea.Mike D10270. wingnut 0 #9 April 15, 2001 mountainman,the whole dropzone.com boogie has been debated before too! never have got an answer back from sangiro ( i guess we should e-mail him directly though) on if it's okay to use the dz.com name.... for now we're resorting to inpromptu boogies around the world. the unofficial european dz.com boogie is set for june 1-3 at Texel island in the netherlands. there are also quite a few jumpers down at css right now jumping at a boogie there for the easter weekend. since we are all spread over the world we see who we can. i pesonally get to see alot (of the world not jumpers) since i'm stationed over here in germany. i get to go to see the europe crowd and this summer i'll get to see some of the east coast crowd and if everything works out some of the west coast crowd later on in august..... it's just that ya got to travel! and this sport doesn't have so many people in it that all ya have to do is stay in it long enough and you'll meet alot of people and other people that know people you've met. skydiving really is a small world! just think there is only 30,000 some uspa members with 250 million people in the us. that's a very small ratio! other countries (yup i didn't forget about the rest oif the world) have about the same ratio maybe smaller, it's very likely you'll meet us someday!<> Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I think that it would be cool to have some type of booth or things planned for a big boogie in US (Quincy, perhaps??) one of these years. Maybe have a dz.com big-way...and then some party or soemthing at a hotel confrence room or something. If people would be interested, I would be willing to be part of a planning committie (are you listening SANGIRO?!?).
