Greg 0 #1 April 16, 2001 Hello All, sorry in advance for the long post!Seems quite a few of us had great Easter's. Mine was KICK ASS!!!, best Easter yet!! It started on Saturday, when we showed up at the dz, there was a boogie!!! (go figgure) but, the video guy I was supposed to jump with had to get his reserve repacked, so we dropped his rig at the riggers, and decided to get "sloppy" at the dz bar instead and jump on Sunday. Thats when it hit me, hey, its the day before Easter, why not. So, I wandered into Square 2 and bought a "Pro Track"!!! That thing KICKS BUTT!! Got it all "hooked up" and came back on Sunday morning. Started off with an AWESOME 5 way (thanks for the advise on linked exits Mr Von Novak, your exit worked well). I blew the landing, landed a little out and down wind, but managed to sort of stand it up anyway. Then we did another five way, the exit was rock solid but we funnled a horney gorilla attempt, but it was a great dive anyway. Then, the best one (kind of). Then I did a two way "all about me" jump. Just me and my friend and his camera(s), he has a video camera, and a still camera!!. Unfortunatly, I made the worst exit I have ever made, I was grabbing for the rail, tumbled, rolled, OMG!!! lol Looked like an AFF student again!! Got stable, flew relative to the camera, geeked a bit, and then did some of the ugliest 90's and 360's lol, then three very loose backloops (two with a "momentum' third, lol), then the best part, after I blew the first part of the dive, waved off a 3.5 and dumped right in front of the camera (about twenty feet out)!!! The footage was AMAZING (thanks Joe!!!) I kinda waved off facing the camera, then gently turned 90 to give the "profile view" to the camera and dumped!!! Had the sun just behind me, and watched the d bag come out and canopy start to inflate. Wow, that was great. Then we packed it in and got sloppy again. WooooooooHooooo!!! Come on next weekend!!! Greg 0 #4 April 16, 2001 Hey Skreamer, great point, if they can get past my poor preformance at the beginning of the dive and see the deployment while not laughing too hard, that just may work!!!Hello Wingnut, yeah, I have a few copies of the video already, My camera friend happily made me my own copy to take home (so I would stop buggin him, I think lol) and watch. Im already wearing it out with the "hey, thats me!!, rewind that!!, wait!!, slo mo that!!, hey rewind that once more!!, hey wait!!, I just saw me again!!, woah did you see that!!, no well you better rewind it!!" And this only happened yesterday!! Its a pretty long wait until next weekend!! I cant wait to see the stills!!! I can see it now, poster size pictures of meeeee, skydiving, all over the house!!!!!
