Cacophony 0 #3 April 17, 2001 Night jumps freakin rock!! I wish I had more but I only have one. Shhhhh!! Don't tell. I will get more as soon as my DZO stops sucking and starts letting us do them more. It took some serious protesting to get in my one night jump last year. I can't wait!Safe landings,Alex D-23912
SkySlut 0 #4 April 17, 2001 Definately a good thing. I love those...I only have one, but it was very memorable. I cant wait to pull off an RW night jump this year!!! Whooohooo!!! It is so peacefull & quiet up there in the sky...you can see lights for miles, even up here in the sticks. Beautiful.-Slut"I'll jump anything!"

Donna 0 #6 April 17, 2001 Night jumps at Lebanon seem a bit nerve wracking to me. There's a lot of woods surrounding that small landing area. I'm trying to work up courage to jump there in daylight! :o) I bet it is really beautiful though! Hopefully I'll find out someday.Donna
SkySlut 0 #7 April 17, 2001 yeah, jumping into Lebanon at night can be a little rough, but Mike Carpenter is sure to take care of everybody. I got out smack dab over the DZ. Lebanon has a bigger landing area than Peperrell though. Where do you jump??? Come on up one of these days. We started jumping full time last week and they got the Super Otter going. It took us under 11 minutes to get to 13,500 with a little over a half a load on board. The swooping pond is almost done too. Let me know if you want to come up...-Slut"I'll jump anything!" Donna 0 #8 April 17, 2001 I jump at Jumptown in Orange, MA. but my in-laws have a cottage in Milton. NH about 5 minutes from Lebanon. My husband and I checked it out last summer when we were up there. We were in the middle of AFF then and decided to wait on jumping there until this summer. We both got our A licenses at the end of last season. We have been eagerly waiting to get jumping again now that the weather is getting nice. Unfortunately, I trashed my knee while painting! of all things at the DZ a few weekends ago. (A counter I was standing on collapsed and I fell) No jumping for me until at least June. We will be up that way 4th of July though so will stop by. Hopefully I will be able to jump again then. Maybe see you then!Donna
SkySlut 0 #9 April 17, 2001 I went to Orange for Thanksgiving and jumped there the day after. It was freezing! -22 at altitude or something stupid like that. Rose was up at SDNE and invited us down. You got some nice people down there. Actually, we are going to be doing night jumps on the 6th of July actually so if you want to do one...here is your opportunity! Anyways, I hope you heal soon and get back in the sky. Take care.-Slut"I'll jump anything!"
Krishan 0 #10 April 17, 2001 I did my premier night jump on the 7th. It was totally awesome. I jumped over Abluquerque, NM and man, with all the lights you can see the ground coming up at you really fast. Kinda trippy actually, I had to keep checking against my alti, just to make sure.It was totally fun. Good times
Donna 0 #11 April 17, 2001 Yup! Very cold Thanksgiving! I was there, too, though not jumping. I had hurt my back on a jump with a bad spot where I ended up in a tree. (I'm not usually this injury prone! I swear!) My husband was jumping in that frigid weather though. I actually wasn't feeling that bad for myself because I couldn't jump. And yup! There are some great people at Jtown! I think I'll have to pass on the night jump. At the rate I'm going I doubt I'll have 50 jumps by then. Plus for my first night jump I prefer that big, huge, sandy bowl out in the middle of Orange. I'll take you up on it some day though!Donna
