Slowfaller 0 #1 April 3, 2001 Having read numerous posts that state beer is needed to be bought for completing a task, my questions is what are those tasks? Could somebody enlighten me to the beer buying rules. I have graduated the afp program; should i buy a case? I passed my license test; should i buy a case. What qualifies as a ( BEER ) moment. jumpergirl 0 #3 April 3, 2001 Generally, beer is bought upon completion of any "first" you make in the sport. So, your first jump off of student status, you owe a case of beer. Your first off drop zone landing, you owe a case of beer. You get the picture. It isn't necessarily upon completion of a certain task, but the "first" of anything.Blue skies!!! For Safety reasons our DZO doesn't want anyone landing any closer to the hangers than where the static sales are.... if you do - BEER (I haven't really had to worry about this one yet lol). For someone that doesn't drink alcohol this rule really blows.... but I suck it up & pay my dues just like everyone else. Hell, I racked up something like 3 cases (oh, and at our DZ it has to be Corona) in one jump. "First jump on your own gear??" ...."uhh.. yeah!".... "BEER!" "First jump on a ZP canopy??".... "Uhhh.. yeah!".... "BEER!" .... you get the idea!
