Sorry, just have to bitch. The only thing that is worse then whuffo's are the people who say they want to and are going to jump, but come up with every excuse in the world not too. I can name at least 5 people who've said "I AM going to do it," have no excuse not to, then come up with something that is 'keeping them from it'. My brother included! His is even paid for and now I start hearing "I'm not sure WHEN I'll get a chance to come do it..." WHATEVER! Ya know, I respect if someone doesn't want to jump, that's cool. But don't get me all excited thinking you're gonna come jump with me, then flake out! Sheesh!

Hey Pammi....ALL of my friends say that. They keep saying it's all about the money. And I say BULLS*IT!!! You can save up 150 to at least do one jump. They always have some lame excuse not to jump. And there were several times where they said they were going to go, but then "flaked" out. What a crock!

Yeah, its gotten to the point where I dont even bother anymore. It is too much of a waste of my energy and resources to lead a dead hoarse to water. What has actually gotten people to the DZ is the curiousity of why I spend so much time there...My friends dont even ask me what I am doing or bother asking me to do things with them because they know what my response is going to be. So they get curious and show up just to check things out...then they jump because it looks pretty cool.

Solution: take your friends to a David Allan Coe concert and be the designated driver. Then, while they're all sobering up over "breakfast" at Alex's, challenge their egos and manipulate their drunken brains until they agree to jump as long as you pay half.

Talk about it...I have a friend/co-worker who's been saying this ever since I started.
When I talk briefly about how cool my weekend was he always replies casual with 'mwa..I'mm try that sometime.." or "yea..I'll probably do that" But it's so obvious he's never EVER going to actualy do that...but he probably also knows he'll never actualy do it...
But when someone says something cool, you need to reply with something 'cooler' and I think the whole 'ill do that someday' remark is nothing more that..
