Keys 0 #1 April 25, 2001 Man, I lifted all winter and gained 20lbs of muscle. Now I drop like a rock. I cup like crazy and my fall rate is still too fast. Anyone know of any manufactures of BIG jumpsuits that will slow me down a little. I'd rather not loose the 20lbs. I'm 6'1 with a 38 waiste large frame so XL suits are not very loose. Seriously though, try Ryan at Flitesuit (Skydance), he can definitely tailor-make you something suitable./s
Stacy 0 #3 April 25, 2001 If you are custom ordering a suit, I'd think that pretty much any company will make whatever measurements you tell them to... fabric choices might be more along the lines of what they'd need to cater to for the amount of drag you want...Stacyhttp://astro.temple.edu/~sweeks

SkySlut 0 #5 April 25, 2001 Another thing that you can do is get multiple layers in your suit. It will be a bit stiffer and thicker so it will grab more air on you...the downside is that it will be hot as hell in that suit on a hot summer day. But I guess if you have put all the effort in to lift weights, you could suffer a little bit in your own private sauna and lose any excess fat that you may have.-Slut"I'll jump anything!" Deleted 0 #7 April 25, 2001 Well I have the same problem, (215# 6% bodyfat). The suit that worked for me was from Tads sportsware. The quality is far better than Bev or Tony suits!!! Their freefly suit is baggy and slow. I had chute assist wings addedby Tads, with tie dye colors and shipping it cost about $170.00.
notmmrw1 0 #8 April 25, 2001 I fall pretty quickly myself...I was always going low on formations...I can actually float now and have a pretty good range...just have to harness it...lol....I bought a regular tony suit...find somone who knows how to do the sizing and works with tony suit..they can slow you down..they did me...got a regular tony suit with there new material brushed poly cotton in the arms and body and cordora on the knees and down....they add the extra material needed to slow you down and knew what they were doing...youc an always have swoop cords added to really get you back up....good luckChipFree Bags are expensive..LOL
skybitch 0 #9 April 25, 2001 .....or how about trying to modify one of those Birdman suits? Or is that a bit extreme?
Keys 0 #10 April 30, 2001 Actually Sunday I tried a birdman, HOLY CRAP! I could barely get down to the formation. I ended up tracking in circles, made it down, arched like a $#@%^!* then floated back up. I managed to get in about 1000 ft before breakoff.I tried that and another baggy student suit. I'll stick with a thick baggy suit but flying that birdman was really cool. If you can get a hold of one try it.BLUE SKIES!
