Anyone from Skydive Illinois-Morris?

I have a friend who was going to take advantage of the 10$jump fri, havent heard from her since thursday,strange, maybe she is still hungover-LOL
How did the weekend go?

I was at Morris is this Fri. and Sun. I was a great weekend, sunny, warm, clear blue skies. I did hear that someone got injured on Sat. I don’t know exactly what happened, but according to Kris Bagwell (JM at SDI) a female skydiver with about 60 jumps did not flare her canopy on landing and as a result suffered a minor back injury.

Well what are the odds, sounds just like her,(about 60 jumps) and I havent heard from her, do you know what Medical Center she was taken to?

I don't know what hospital she was taken to. Call (800)772-JUMP and talk to Ron Nowak (DZ manager) or Kris Bagwell, they should be able to give you more info.

Thanks guys- I called her house, she just got home last night, pretty bummed. Definately out till october or so when it'll get cold up there again-LOL
Compound fracture of the L1 vertabrae, really sucks to be her.
First thing I said when I was sure I had put 2 & 2 together correctly was: "You're supposed to flare those damn things!"
Her jumpsuit just came in the mail today - LOL
ok thanks again guys - anyone know where I can buy a shirt that says : "OH GET UP! You're not hurt!" with the little big-nosed dude laying on his back?

I don't know about a shirt but I am sure there is a card. I think Hallmark makes a card for everything.
