DiverDave 0 #1 May 10, 2001 Well, after reading news and forums on dropzone.com since last summer, and using gear reviews to help w/ my recent purchases, I've decided to emerge from the shadows and participate... there goes the neighborhood!I split my jumps (152 so far) about half & half between RW and freefly. I jump at Perris Valley in CA most every weekend and the occasional weekday.Well, I'll type at everyone again later...Cheers... Davep.s. Thanks to Sangiro for a great site. what42 0 #11 May 10, 2001 Welcome Dave, Joolee. Just a warning though, dropzone.com can be like a drug. You find yourself spending valuable time here when you should be doing other things. But it's worth it. Wesley--I want to fly!
Joolee 0 #12 May 10, 2001 Hi what42,I know what you mean about it being like a drug - i'm already getting so distracted from my work...at least it passes the time till the weekend though Joolee
skreamer 1 #13 May 10, 2001 QuoteYou find yourself spending valuable time here when you should be doing other thingsWesley that is so not true. You people need to practice a little moderation like myself. You guys are pathetic, there is life outside these forums you know... Now I am going to go wash my glass house before hitting the road to Langar./s

SkymonkeyONE 4 #17 May 10, 2001 Dave, welcome aboard. Perris, huh? I will be out there in early June competing in the Para Performance Pro Cup, so look me up during the meet. I am on the Atair team and jump a neon-orange Cobalt 75 with blue diamonds, wingtips and ribs. Chuck
DiverDave 0 #18 May 10, 2001 Thanks for the warm welcome, folks...Chuck: I'll look for you at the Para Performance Pro Cup. That should be a very good event... there's quite a number of hot canopy pilots around these days! So, anyone else make it out to Perris (or jump there regularly, for that matter)? The only other dropzone I've jumped at is Skydive Skyranch in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. It's a nice little Cessna DZ, and they bring a Caravan in quite regularly during the season. I don't suppose any of you have been there? Since business trips drag me all over the place, hopefully this season (since I finally have my own gear) I'll visit a few others DZ's.Well, if any of you are out at Perris, look for a black/white/red infinity and a red w/ black ribs safire and you'll find me attached or nearby... :)Cheers...
