Pammi 0 #1 May 15, 2001 Okay, so I'm in a rather emotional mood this morning (no, it's not PMS...this time! hehe) but I was just thinking of how long I've been posting her at DZ.com and how we were telling a new student about this forum last weekend. We highly recommended it to her as a place to really talk about things, get ideas, opinions and most of all support! Not just about skydiving either! When Mom was very ill and in the hospital for an entire month, I even had people emailing me privately, through Merrick and on here with their touching support.I just want to thank Sangiro and all of those who helped me during my rather difficult progression! A scarred arm, several practice pulls, a low pull, horrible landings, new gear....you've all shared them with me and helped me when I wanted to just say *Screw it! I'm done!* I've made some really good friends here and now get to jump regularly with another very sweet, beautiful person whom I may have never met without this forum from Dallas! Gee, wonder who that could be! Love you Sis! Now I finally feel like a 'real' skydiver...jumping with whomever I like, trying out formations, jumping my own gear...it's all just so much more fun now then ever before! I'm so glad that I stuck with it! I couldn't have done it without all of my friends at the DZ, here, and most of all Merrick.Dropzone.com rocks!! I'm done being mushy now :)The unimaginatively nicknamed - Pammi"The question is not whether we will die, but how we will live." http://trak.to/skydivechick

freaksister 0 #3 May 15, 2001 Pammi, that was soooo sweet!! Thanks a million! I just got up and that is going to start my day off right! I am glad you stuck with it, girl! I remember when your mom was ill and you had some bad experiences jumping, especially that low pull. I was really concerned you might quit the sport. I am glad that everyone here could help you. The next time I come up there we'll do a three-way...See you in June, Mr. & Mrs. Loveland!! sangiro 26 #4 May 15, 2001 Thank you for the kind words dear! You are oh so welcome. It's been an absolute pleasure to follow your progression on these forums for months now. You'll be amazed how much you taught people while you think you were only learning, and I'm not only talking about skydiving. And although you may think it's mushy, notes like yours is what motivates me when it's late at night and I have to put in a few hours on the site to get something new out. Thank you. Keep the faith.
