8:30 A.M on the east coast

Recommended Posts

Let's hear it for the eastern time zone!
You should have some Fruit Loops ;)
I like this egg stuff my mom always made around Christmas, don't even know what it's called. But, seeing as how it's not Christmas and I'm not in the same state as my mother, I'll go grab a bagel for now.

Hey Cyber!
Good Morning!! Isn't it a beautiful morning!! The little birdies woke me up at about 5:30 this morning just singing. They apparently were thrilled not to have rain drops coming down on their little heads!
Breakfast, I'm not big on breakfast. But if I could have anything, it's got to be coffee first!! I like fruit, it would have to be strawberries and banana or cherries. Maybe a piece of toast with peanut butter (gotta have my peanut butter!). On the other hand, a ham and cheese croissant wouldn't be bad either! And then there's eggs, eggs sunny side up or eggs with onions, peppers, and cheese! Oh, my god there's pancakes - wrap a quartered banana up in a pancake, top it off with whip cream and pecans and syrup . . .
Sorry, I've gotta go now . . .

*laughing at Diva* You sound like me! Food is my friend *grin*
I LOVE IHOP! Pancakes with everything! You want eggs? You still get pancakes! They screwed me last time and didn't give them to me with my omelet. The bastards! LOL! Always start with coffee tho! Nector of the Gods I tell you!
Oh you're making me hungry! Only had 'nector' this morning. :)

Now it's 9:50 on the East Coast... I'm at "work" and still "working" on my third serving of Drug-in-a-Mug™.
Hmm... breakfast... favorite is a tie between these 3:
A) 3 bowls of Lucky Charms with whole milk
2) An apple pancake from the Original Pancake House. It's basically an apple pie that they serve with pancakes on the side.
IV) anything my mom cooks on Sunday mornings. mmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmm tasty.

I switched to protein in the mornings last year to help me lose weight, and I feel much better throughout the morning having it instead of carbs. I eat eggs, with cheese and ham in it. As for my coffee, it's more like a dessert! I add flavored creamer to it and cool whip. Yummy! ;)

Hey Diva
You live in America, why not just pop down to your local supermarket, buy a shot-gun and take care of those little feathered noise hazards? Screw greenpeace, anything waking me up at 5.30AM will die!

Cyber,
my mornings usually consist of a BEC muffin from wawa w/ a wawa iced tea. But on the weekends i have the best breakfast imagineable at the dz... The DZO's mom runs The Long Delay Cafe and she makes these unbelievable Bacon Egg and Cheese muffins. Ummmmmmm. Just thinking about them makes my mouth water. You gottta try one when you come visit us here! (im assuming that you will one day :)

Yeah, I did that too Skymama. Except during the week I usually drink a whey protein shake for breakfast and lunch then have veggies w/rice for dinner. Weekends are for being 'bad' though! :) It helped though, the protein thing. I normally don't eat much meat and I really needed it with doing some weights.

LOL, Pammi! I'm bad on the weekends too. I would have lost all that weight a lot quicker if I didn't cheat so much. But, I averaged about 5 pounds a month, and they say if you lose it slowly you'll keep it off easier. My biggest downfall is chocolate-that's the only thing I couldn't do with out.

Damn Screamer! You won't have to remind me twice that you're not a morning person!!
I'm not myself, but after 5 days of rain and a tiny tornado that sat down just down the road from where I live yesterday, I was happy to hear the little buggers singing! (homeless maybe, but they're still singing)
(Hey, I said they woke me up, I didn't say that I got up!!)

After four days in a row of getting about 3 hours of sleep per night and being hungover the whole time, I am finally back to being myself again! It is noon CST and I just got up! hehe Eat your hearts out! Who needs coffee??

I drink black tar coffee with sugar and Hazelnut creamer. I toss back an anti-depressant, which doesnt work, and I am off to where ever.
I get up around 7 but I officially dont wake up till around 10:00. No matter where I am.

rofl, Ann!!
try taking 2 antidepressants...works for me! i am an expert in self-medicating...except sometimes i forget to do it, like last weekend, and then things take on a bizarre, slanted (unmedicated) hue! Ask MikeD...he knows all about it! Iona resorts to locking him in his room when he doesn't have HIS meds!! hehe I wonder if he'll be in the Pub for Happy Hour tonight?!
hehe

I think Princeton is the only place where it's referred to as "the 'Wa" and not "the Wawa." Once at X-Keys, people looked at me funny when I tried to explain where the nearest ATM was.
"The 'Wa up the road."
"The what?"
"The 'Wa."
"What's a wa?"
"You know, the convenience store."
"Oh, the Wawa."
"Yeah, that's what I said!!"
:)Long Delay is a great place to eat, too. Although if you're A-license or under and trying to jump in the fall, you'll understand how they picked up that name.
