skreamer 1 #1 May 29, 2001 Emma, BenW and myself have been tasked with some very important research work for the BPA. We have been asked to do a study of wing-loadings of female skydivers in the UK. Before we can visit Hinton later this month, we need some important info from yourself :The height, main canopy size and wing-loading of all single and/or available female skydivers at Hinton.Should any of these loadings be in the region of 1:1 or higher and involve a Manta, we will be requesting the assistance of our esteemed colleague, Dr. Moooose. Please advise.Dr. SkreamerBPA A-101931Dr. BenWBPA B-101724
BenW 0 #2 May 29, 2001 Indeed Dr. Skreamer,This is very important work that requires an in depth study of the Hinton females.I congratulate you in the professional manner and the candid nature under which I am sure you will conduct this important clinical research....Dr. BenWB101724
mattb 0 #3 May 29, 2001 Is it just height and weight you need to know or does bust size play a role too?
Grogs 0 #4 May 29, 2001 Hey guys, I can understand why Skreamer, BenW, and Huffermoose (for the umm... higher wing-loadings) would be involved in this research, but why Emma? Is there something we should know? You might also want to investigate whether or not they have problems with the chest strap, umm... presenting problems with certain appendages their chest region. Very important knowledge for the future of the rig design. BTW, totally off topic, but how do they do the license numbers there in the UK? Do they just add your BPA number after the type of license, or are there really 100,000+ B license holders in the UK? (seems pretty unlikely with the bloody awful weather you have on that Isle)
BenW 0 #5 May 29, 2001 You gets the same number for all your licenses, just the preceding letter changes. ie. A110011, B110011, C110011 and D110011.Easy huh??As for Emma and checking out the Hinton females - I think she needs checking also... Just in the interest of science you understand! B. Emma 0 #6 May 29, 2001 Jeez guys! Well, I jump a PD 230 and I load it at 1.3, cos I like to get some really fast, gnarly swoops out of the leedle beeetch over the hangar.....The CCI said I should really upsize, but I aint scared, heh heh...It looks especially cool with my sexy, skin-tight hot-pink fast-fall jumpsuit and purple helmet ....Mmmmm... Wow, are we ever one shit-hot se-e-e-exxxxy bunch of babes....I'm the skinny one in the team, I have to wear lead when I jump with the other girls, cos i can have a tendency to float a bit compared with them....Come on down boys, we'll show you a few tricks Em
Emma 0 #7 May 29, 2001 BTW, Grogs, chest straps tend to be ok, but we do often experience problems with our flaps....perhaps you could ...adjust them for us?
skreamer 1 #8 May 29, 2001 Uhh Grogs you haven't been paying attention have you? Emma jumps at Hinton, BenW and myself are planning a visit there later this month, which is why we need the *raw* data for our research from Emma. Hmm, yes, Drs. Skreamer and BenW do agree with the necessity of chest strap measurements too - most important. Emma could you please provide those too? (although we will gladly be providing hand measurements when we make our rounds at Hinton...).Re. BPA licenses, yes the nr. stays the same, you just change the letter (much easier to remember than that silly yank system). And I can think of 41 reasons in the last 10 weeks to disagree with you about the local weather...Dr. SkreamerBPA A-101931
BenW 0 #9 May 29, 2001 A pd230 loaded at 1.3 lbs/ft^2?? That gives you an exit weight of 299lbs?? Man, you da bomb!! No wonder the other girls have gotta wear weight!! Bwaa haah haahhahahah!!! A wingloading of 0.7 gives you an exit weight of 161lbs or 11st 5lbs with your gear. So, which are you? 161 lbs out the door or 299 lbs (21 and a bit stone) outta da door?Just *interested*.....B
