pyke 0 #2 May 29, 2001 Yeah Dutch, where were you??A group of us Monroe-ites decided to drop in on your "GREAT" dz only to be there almost by ourselves.Your "self proclaimed" Super Otter is nothing more than a Twin Otter, so I ask you what makes it "super" other than the fact that it is at your dz!!!! The rides up take as long as our King Air in Monroe. The weather almost put us off, but we still managed to squeeze 2 loads in!!! So hopefully that might put an end to your "Well, if you're happy to stay at your dz" rants, as I have been there, done that, and didn't bother buying a t-shirt.So, where were ya??eh???Kia Kaha,PykeNZPF A-2584
Dutchboy 0 #3 May 29, 2001 I was supposed to be flying in the morning, but that was cancelled due to weather. Had something going on with some friends so I couldn't do any jumping. The Super Otter is being repaired and should arrive some time soon. It had some engine problems shortly before it was to arrive at the DZ earlier this month.I'm shocked that you got any loads in with the crap weather yesterday. I was considering popping up to Rome if I had the time. With all the other obligations I had and Michelle's death on Sunday I wasn't really in the mood to jump. The Dutchboyhttp://www.geocities.com/ppolstra
Deleted 0 #4 May 30, 2001 You guys seemed to be having a pretty good time considering the weather and Michele's death. Two jumps were all I could manage and still look back at her spot...sorry. We are generally a wonderful bunch of people and I did try and hype all up on the plane but everyone was sorta out of it. Give us another try when things settle down. I'll even do a jumps with ya and see if I can totally mess with your heads.
