Deleted 0 #1 June 1, 2001 Oh my God... Cyber writes and says my site is featured in The Pub. And I freaked out bad. We were talking about some stuff that kinda disappeared from my site and I was whinning about how long it would take me to get it fixed and he says BTW, your site is featured! @)(*^^%)%^ What? Now it is beyond pressure to fix er up. But for now it is ok to look at, I guess. Dan, I mean Cyber has done a fine job with the data I have given him. Plus, I am in Houston and he is in Georgia! So we cyber communicated most of the data. And he has really done an amazing job. But Cyber is grrrrreeaatt about that stuff and he helps me alot. In fact, the whole site is about to be redone by him. So, I just wanted to get that disclaimer out that I didn't know about the "suprise" till just not long ago and I fixed the photos, except there are not that many of MY skydives. Levin of flyvertical.com is going to fix that. And we may put up some freeflyin smoke and tube jump videos that we take at the Casa Boogie on the 9th. We also may put up some vids of some other cool jumps we have made. Cyber will have to deal with the vids dealio. It is sometimes hard to keep a skydivers attention on a web site. Usually action is needed like either somebody naked or something crashing, catching on fire and blowing up. But I try to keep the pictures amusing and changing. I appreciate all the Drop Zone individuals who have swooped in for a visit. And Sangrio, you are Awesome. Good luck with your server issues. This site is a lifesaver. I am Wrecked out and here the atmosphere is just right. Thank you!
Deleted 0 #2 June 1, 2001 Oopsie, forgot to log in. And another thing. AirAnn's major purpose is to reach women skydivers in a way that I can help them. We want to offer a Tuition Trust that would enable finacial help to those referred to us that are in some kind of need. Skydiving for women increases self esteem and confidence. You can do anything if you can jump out of an airplane! So I figure, single mothers, women who need some sort of lift from even depression, the list of ideas goes on and on.I think that if I had more sponsors I could reach more people about the side effects of skydiving. ie: Increased self dependence, self confidence and pride.I know that skydiving saved my life in this way. I know what I am talking about first hand, so I am motivated to reach the women who think that there is nothing left to do exciting and would ordinarily not think of skydiving. It is a whole new light on skydiving and what it can do for people. Thats just my opinion, I could be wrong.
Deleted 0 #3 June 1, 2001 AirAnn, I agree with you 100%, and applaud you for what you are doing. I have posted before about how skydiving changed my life, and Carrie (PLFxpert) has also. One of the greatest part of being a skydiver is the instant feeling of being in a community where it seems there are boundless amounts of help, friendship and love.Way to go , girl!Andrea(aka Skymama, can't seem to log on yet)
Deleted 0 #4 June 1, 2001 Thanks! You would not believe how many women talk to me and finally I find out really the reason why they skydive. Or at least one of the reasons. Usually it is something like us. But they found out about the upside, being the self esteem deal. Personally, I have never thought about unpaid traffic tickets, mortages or anything negative while on the aircraft, while in freefall, or while landing or when I am with my extened family at the DZ. Not once. Ok, maybe driving there I might think once about that ticket, but other than that its ALL GOOD.AirAnnhttp://www.airann.comNow today, we are off to the DZ, worry about how come I cant log in later.......
