Deleted 0 #3 June 2, 2001 Hey gang, there's this really bad virus that's been propegating to millions of user's computers over the years. It's very insidious in that it creates the illusion that your machine is working fine, when in reality it sucks up your memory, hogs space on your hard drive, renders many of your programs inoperable and causes sudden system crashes for no apparent reason. The name of this virus is "Microsoft Windows".The only known "cure" is to reformat your hard drive and install a real operating system like Linux.Bloos!--------Zennie
Deleted 0 #4 June 2, 2001 heh. I actually got a call about this at work. I told the person not to worry, as it sounded fake. A quick google search verified that, yes, it was a known hoax. To bad the user had already deleted the file.(I work at my university's academic computing office. No one with a PhD should be allowed near a computer.)"Doasfu"Dan
