If bossman doesn't have the chat server running, we could probably meet on EFNet or UnderNET (ack!)
There's even a few web based clients out there that would let the "IRC Client Challenged" folks join in.

I'm all for a "standard" IRC chat. Just lemme know what server. In fact, I'd like to see a permanent room up for us.
Last thursday I checked the www.dropzone.com server and it was still running. So in theory we might be able to just use that as our server & open up a room. I'll try it tonight (or someone else can try today).
