Perris or Elsinore

I'm planning a trip to the US (I'm from Israel) and I want to spend a few days skydiving in the L.A. area.
So, can any of you help me pick whether to spend my time at Perris or at Elsinore?

Both! I mean, why limit yourself?
Perris is about 20 minutes from Elsinore. Both have Super Otters, nice facilities and cool people and are open 7 days a week. Perris has a bunkhouse, bar, restaurant and pool.

Agreed. I would probably skydive both places, but stay at Perris due to it's great bar,restaurant, pool, and bunkhouse.

I was wondering how bunkouses at other dropzones look like and y they cost money.
at my dz it's just a big container with 10 "beds" and it's free

There are still plenty of places with free bunkhouses, but the nicer ones are well worth the few dollars it costs to stay in them. For example, the one we used to have at Raeford was only $3.00 per night (if you paid at all), but it was just an open bay with some old army bunks. It had heat, AC, a fridge, and cable TV, but wasn't used often enough in the past several years to warrant keeping it. Now, all we have for "homeless" visitors is "The Raeford Hilton" which is what was formerly the VIP bunkroom. It has it's own bathroom, shower, TV, Microwave, etc and costs $10 per night. Most people staying for extended periods at our DZ normally just hook up with one of the people in our RV park nowadays (which is right behind the former bunkhouse). My wife and I keep our RV there; it sleeps six comfortably and has everything a person would need to live in indefinitely.
The new bunkhouse I just stayed at in Perris was simple, but nice. Four beds to a room, cold AC, and building-common bathroom/shower. I think I might have paid $5.00 per night, but can't remember for sure. There were plenty of people camped out in the tent city there, too.

Both Perris and Elsinore have otters...Perris also has a skyvan, which is awesome to at least jump out of once. Both places have a bunkhouse... It's a give and take Perris has a bar and a pool as well...Elsinore has a snack bar open during the day, personally the view is better at Elsinore there's the hills and lake...people hop both all of the time....best bet...jump them both...GO BIG baby!
