cloud9 0 #2 June 18, 2001 Hello Jussito bad about your school, but hey at least you can skydive.Florida or California? Well both are great skydiving states. The weather is good for year round skydiving and there are lots of big DZ's. Florida is a lot smaller state which puts many DZ's in driving distance to each other. CA is so much bigger the DZ's tend to be further apart. I jumped at several DZ's in Florida Z-Hills, Deland and a couple of the smaller one's they were all great! You'll have to hear from some Of the California crowd about their DZ's as I've never been there. But either would be a good choice for skydiving! weid14 0 #5 June 19, 2001 Depends on when you get here. this time of the year is the "slow" time for Fl Dz's (although DeLand will stay busy with teams so the plane will fly). October will be rockin in Eloy for the Nationals. Perris and Elsinore are pretty close in Ca. If you want to do some traveling, take the boogie tour. Most weekends you'll find one somewhere. Skydiving mag or Parachutist has a schedule, sit down with it and map out a route. (Hint, get to Quincy first week in August -- it's in the middle of the country, plan your trip around that). Start on the east coast and head west. It's your best bet to find packing jobs, too(although Cross Keys could use some good packers right now I think).
