AggieDave 6 #1 June 22, 2001 Finally, I actually got it right! I was stable sit flying today. :) Though the fact that it had just started raining and the rain freaking hurt (remember, rain is pointy on top), it was really cool. Now, I need to get some more money so I can practice then start trying new stuff.AggieDave '02-------------Blue Skies and Gig'em Ags!BTHO t.u.
Slowfaller 0 #2 June 22, 2001 Hey man, I wanna give you congrats on the sit flying!! I've attempted sit flying a couple of times and it just doesn't work!! I totally spin like a top!! It's all bout relaxing and that is what I need to do. Peace man, I am drunk as hell and I wish I was flying right now!!!!!!!! Shark 0 #3 June 22, 2001 The first time I attempted it "out of the door" I actually held it all the way down. I suck at turns in a sit, but figure that'll come later. It's pretty cool. Now gotta try that head-down shit. (177 in a sit is FAST)BTW, I'll be buying the brewskis for that "first."
AggieDave 6 #4 June 22, 2001 Though we got rained out after that jump, I DID come back to the DZ with a very nice case of some of the finest beer ever brewed: Miller Lite (this was due to the very disappointing fact that Wal-Mart was out of Lone Star (you know, the "National Beer of Texas")). Good stories and much beer was shared. :)AggieDave '02-------------Blue Skies and Gig'em Ags!BTHO t.u.
Zennie 0 #5 June 22, 2001 What I was told to do with respect to spins, and it appears to work, is push back with the arm in the direction that you'r spinning. So if you're spinning to the right (clockwise), push back with your right arm. It doesn't take much.------------Blue Skies!Zennie

The easiest way - in my opinion - to turn in a sit is with your hands.. If you want to turn left, rotate both wrists left.. If you want to turn right, rotate both wrists right.. After a while, it will become second nature and most of your turning will probably be accomplished with your legs.. Until then, try the hand thing..Quote Now gotta try that head-down shit. (177 in a sit is FAST) Yea, that's fast for a sit.. Is that the speed from a Pro-Track? If so, is it set to SAS or TAS? Mine is set to SAS, and normally shows around 160 in a sit.. Up to 190 in a tight stand.. I've seen 251 in a tight head down position.. Average head down for me is around 180..Mike
