It was just down the road from Key West in Florida and was used for the filming of the film DROP ZONE starring Wesley Snipes. If anyone knows of the site and whether it is still running/has a web site ect. ect. the info would be much appreciated. I can send a photo of my dive if that might help jog someones memory.Anyones help in this matter would be much appreciated.Contact Tim at tspar@onetel.net.uk
Donna 0 #2 June 22, 2001 This one? http://www.skydivekeywest.com/ It looks like they mostly do tandems but maybe that's because of all the water. Does anyone know if you have to have a certain license to jump there? Do they do any student jumping?Skies,D
Rhonda66 0 #3 June 22, 2001 I think you need a D license at that one, but if you jumped there before then you probably know better than we do. Rhonda

Do they do any student jumping? Skydive Key West is basically just a Tandem DZ.. They do allow experienced jumpers, but you must have 500 jumps, a D license, and a wing loading no higher than 1.2.. Then pay $35 for the ride to 10k in a 182.. No thanks, I'll stick to the mainland..Mike
