Can anyone help ?

Recommended Posts

Hi im trying to find out information on a DZ that i used back in 1994. It was just down the road from Key West in Florida and was used for the filming of the film DROP ZONE starring Wesley Snipes. If anyone knows of the site and whether it is still running/has a web site ect. ect.
the info would be much appreciated. I can send a photo of my dive if that might help jog someones memory.
Anyones help in this matter would be much appreciated.

It looks like they mostly do tandems but maybe that's because of all the water. Does anyone know if you have to have a certain license to jump there? Do they do any student jumping?

Skydive Key West is basically just a Tandem DZ.. They do allow experienced jumpers, but you must have 500 jumps, a D license, and a wing loading no higher than 1.2.. Then pay $35 for the ride to 10k in a 182.. No thanks, I'll stick to the mainland..
