Airline Airfare??

Hi all long time no see. Non-jumping question. I think I might get this weekend off and want to go to Washington DC to visit. Anyone have any advice on finding tickets cheap on short notice? I figure Id either leave Columbus, Ga or Atlanta and go to either BWI or Dulles. I want to leave Fri. If I cant find a way of cutting the cost Ill be a stayin here in GA.
Havent been here in a while and have to go through almost 2000 posts. wow. Anyways, I'd appreciate any good advice you all could give me.

You might try Orbitz.com. They are pretty new, and they have some good rates (at least out here on the west coast).

I live in Tallahassee, FL and had to fly into DC (Reagan National) and got the best deal off www.priceline.com
$80 for tickets from Jacksonville to DC with about 4 days notice...
The downside to priceline being that they tell you what time during the day you have to fly (you pick the dates and the airport)...

Priceline sucks....not only do they tell you the time you have to agree to up to 2 layovers. And once they find a flight they've already billed your credit card. I tried to get a flight from them from Philly to Toronto (direct flight is an hour). They had me going through Detroit and taking 6 hours to get there. And it saved me like $30 over a direct flight. They wouldn't let me cancel it, but they fed-x the tickets. I just hid from the Fed-X guy and told them I never got the tix so they had to refund my money.
