freaksister 0 #5 July 9, 2001 My guess is that he might be referring to pull altitude on a night jump...(?) Or possibly flying your slot in formation on said jump? cyberskydive 0 #8 July 9, 2001 Dont try this at homeIts prolly got 100 different names, but an electric 8 way, or whatever way, involves high voltage, a cut off cord with wall jacks, and two ends of some knives shoved in the ends for good grips (as was the case this time) One drunk fool grabs on to one knife end with the wire plugged up to the 110 V anothyer drunk fool grabs the other knifes end and you proceed to build your "way" with grips , ever so happily distributing the voltage through everyones body. The more people, the more resistance , less painfull.and vice versa if your drunk neighbor replaces his grip on your wrist with a finger to your forehead (third eye) , you see a strobe light effect, which I assumed was what the wave of AC current flowing through me head looked like- HAAC-28534http://www.sunraydesigns.com
pyke 0 #9 July 9, 2001 Ahh, now it is all beginning to make sense.I have always wondered what the hell was wrong with you...at first I assumed drugs...but the truth is even more "painful!" - LOL!NO THANKS! I will leave the electricity to the power board and Ben Franklin - the less a/c running through my body the better...esp with all this metal in me body!!Kahurangi e Mahearangi,PykeNZPF A - 2584

Cacophony 0 #12 July 9, 2001 Hmmmm, doesn't sound like too much fun to me. I guess you definately must be drunk before you try it. All that would do is kill brain cells. Not too smart.Safe landings,Alex D-23912
freaksister 0 #13 July 9, 2001 Oh, I have heard of this! I was at a DZ in Colorado (Front Range Skydivers) and they were debating about whether to do one that night. We had like five bottles of Pucker and 2 fifths of Jack, plus beer and herb, and the rigger thought everyone would get fucked up enough to do it. Apparently, they do it at the DZ several times a year...they even have it on video! I don't remember them calling it an "Electric 8-way" though. Probably goes by diff. names across the country.Sis It isn't brave if you aren't scared...
