Cacophony 0 #6 July 4, 2001 I will probably be a S/L JM in a few weeks and I'm only 18. This isn't guaranteed yet though. I am still having doubts.Safe landings,Alex D-23912
Monk 0 #7 July 4, 2001 Back in 1966 my Dad was a jumpmaster at Elsinore at the ripe old age of 16 yrs. He was the Youngest J/M in the world. Pretty neat eh?CiaoMonkP.S. Yes...he is the son of the owner. His name is Johnny.Dang good guy and dang good canopy pilot! Our humble corner on the web... HERE
Cacophony 0 #10 July 10, 2001 That doesn't sound too unreasonable mountainman. I bet I could pull that off before I'm 20 if I really tried. Of course I don't really want to. I think I want to leave the fun in skydiving rather than taking a lot of responsibility for people's lives that you probably don't even know.Safe landings,Alex D-23912

I hope not!! You ARE responsible for your students' life (indirectly). Maybe you should think twice about doing that!!!blue onesOur humble corner on the web... chicagoskydiver 0 #12 July 10, 2001 I jumped with Rook Nelson at Skydive Chicago in the AFP program. At the time he was 20 years old. I think he just turned 21 recently. He had around 2800 jumps at the time I believe. He also holds the world record for the youngest person to make a skydive. He did a tandem with his dad Roger at the age of 4 years and 1 week. He's also now a world champion freeflyer. Not bad for being 21 years old!Hackey
