wingnut 0 #1 July 12, 2001 okay all you great people, and skreamer too.....vacation has been a blast so far. i've been drinking up a storm, skydiving my ass off and getting alot of firsts.... got a night jump in last thursday, jumped at cross keys this past weekend and jumped the franken otter, stearman biplane and drank at the tiki bar......... man life is good, now for thew story about cross keys......left columbus oh about 4am and got to cross keys 500 miles away around 1:30pm. filled out all my stuff and met stacy and froggie. i got on a couple otter loads and then decided i was going to chill and make number 100 on sunday, but then after talking to kelly i decided to go ahead and hit 100 that day. well i did it and lets just say 100 will notbe forgoten soon. i was drinking at the tiki bar that night and talking to a guy named bagel (don't ask me they like food nik names there) he was telling me about how the pilot radio'd down to him and told him to watch because a guy just jumped butt ass naked out of the otter and he didn't think he was going to make it back. well i finnish his stiry by telling him that i did make it back andi pulled high because for the first time i found the dz in freefall and it was way way far away. i pulled around 4,500 and made it back. the otter made a go around for the aff student. i landed out by the trees and got my hidden clothes. all in al a good jump. i just thought it was funny how he was telling me this story and it was about me!!!! well i consumed way to much beer while i was there and froggie almost killed me with her driving but it was cool. i also got to jump the biplane. they were trying to get rid of the fuel on sunday night so i tried to get one one of the loads but it got dark to fast so i talked em into letting me jump it on monday morning. i got out at 3,500ft. and it was sweet.i let go as he went into a 45deg. dive and then went flat. he went into a dive and i saw him diving in freefal it was so cool!!!! pulled and then saw him come around for a pass while i was under canopy...i landed fine and even think i figured out the whole thing where i can get some speed and surf my landings using a little front riser i just need to flare a little later though, i don't think it looks as cool surfing a landing in at 5 ft than if it was maybe at like 6 inches............ all in all cross keys ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!!! i'll be back as soon as i can aford it........oh, my raio for this trip was 0:6:20p.s. i hate my parents computer it is so slow, i'm not reading any messages untill i get back to my house in germany and can surf at supper speed at work!!!!"if dreams are like movies, then memories are like films about ghosts"-counting crows Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

And what's with hiding the clothes? I thought with your past pictures you were a naturalist?
