weid14 0 #3 July 13, 2001 it's probalby an NSL meet, so all you have to do is find 3 others and a camera person and go for it. depending on how tight their meet organization is depends on if you could do it Sunday vs. Saturday. (i.e. is it run like a true meet where your first skydive is the meet dive and everyone has to complete it the same day.). there should be two catagories advanced and intermediate (intermediate uses a smaller dive pool, taking out the mirror and slot switcher blocks) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Donna 0 #4 July 17, 2001 Carl - You should have come out to Jumptown. We had a really fun weekend with Jerry Bird, Boxman, Goran and the Germaines. Bernie made a bunch of jumps with Jerry Bird doing 8 and 9 ways (before that his biggest was a 4). I kept telling him, "BEER!" He learned a ton and had a blast. I got a couple more jumps in and learned a bunch just by listening in. Don was there and I told him you might be coming by. I was without a computer most of last week. DZBone 0 #5 July 17, 2001 Thanks, Donna. Jumptown was my choice, but the wife wanted to hang with her friends in Pepperell (off the DZ, natch). Once her bud in Irving comes back to town, she can hang out there while I jump.Had fun, met some cool folks, didn't compete, thanks. Glad to hear you are getting back in the swing of things! I'll bet Bernie had a blast with those guys.
