Pammi 0 #1 July 17, 2001 Okay, just a minor little bitching here, but good grief! It's 106 degrees out, feels like 114 with the humidity! I'm sorry, but I'd much rather jump with it actually snowing in the plane like we did in March then roast my a** off in this temp! Dripping with sweat as you pack your canopy sure doesn't help get it in the bag Okay, I'm done whining...Our webpage
DZBone 0 #2 July 17, 2001 Pammi, sorry to be amused at your discomfort, but the mental image of you all sweaty and packing has really made my day! Carl (bad, bad boy!)

weid14 0 #4 July 17, 2001 Yeah, I was out in Oklahoma City and Dallas last week for work... boy was it hot. At least it wasn't humid then. 9pm going out to get something to eat and it's still 98 degrees. yuck.
Snowflake 0 #5 July 17, 2001 Come on down to Austin where it's a cool 98 degrees and, the purple tailed otter gets ya to altitude in 15 minutes, and, theres an air conditioned packing area :-P. I was told that sweet acts as a lubricant and helps stuffing your canopy in the bag. It'll be over soon and when it starts snowing up there and it's 28 degrees out I want you to tell me how much more you enjoy freezing your arse off then sweeting like a pig. I should be working but all I can think about is skydiving do I need a shrink?JG

mouth 0 #8 July 18, 2001 I'm with Pammi....in GA we have 98 in the shade, humidity, and below the fault line we have GNATS. I'm thankful the DZ is above the line so there aren't any there.
