sangiro 26 #1 July 21, 2001 Heya all,First - to everyone who are experiencing slow page downloads, my apologies - it's not your connection, it's the site performance that sucks!The database is probably not close to "too big" yet - but then again I could be wrong. I suspect I need to do quite a bit to optimize the tables though..blah, blah blah Also, we have outgrown my current server - yet again - insofar as bandwidth and storage space is concerned. So, today I purchased some dedicated server space and services. This means Dropzone.com will soon live on it's own machine I will start moving the site to the new server (feels like just yesterday that I did this!) this Sunday - if you see some funny behavior, please be patient. Although I hope this will be quick and painless it may not. I am trying to wrap up a project at work, go on vacation in two weeks for two weeks and move to London immediately on my return... So, you never know what kind of mess I can get myself into in the middle of the night trying to do some code changes! Hehehe!Anyway - thanks for the patience and keep the faith!(Oh yes, new version of the Forums is already installed and tested...coming soon, probably even before the site moves over.
