skybytch 273 #1 July 24, 2001 Okay, I'm excited! My mom and aunt are off to Prague, Czech Republic, for a week next spring and I get to go too!! This will be my beer trip outside the US and I'm hoping to go big - stopping in London on the way there and I'm going to make sure that my return takes me through Amsterdam (mom and aunt can go home however they want; I'm gonna go to Amsterdam!!)Sooo..... anybody out there know anything about jumping in the Czech Republic? I saw that there is a USPA affiliated DZ about 60km from Prague - know anybody that jumps there? I'd love to meet and jump with some Czech jumpers while I'm there...I'll post my itinerary once I have it - I'd sure love to hook up with some of you while I'm in London and Amsterdam too! Probably won't be in either one long enough to get any jumps in (damn...) but I'm sure there'll be enough time to do a pub crawl in London and a coffeehouse cruise in Amsterdam (Bulldog, here I come! ).Thanks everyone!pull and flare,lisa----I am a nobody. Nobody's perfect. Therefore, I am perfect!
RemiAndKaren 0 #2 July 24, 2001 I dont have it bookmarked, but there is a guy based in the UK who organises boogies, and he does one each year in the Czech Rep (I think...). Its the same organiser that does the Dubai boogies (again, I think). Try a search on that... They might have more general info...As for Amsterdam, I hear the Banana Bar is a fine establishement, allegedly.... (hehehe) PS: Prague is supposed to be a very beautifull city too (never been)Remi
