Zennie 0 #1 August 12, 2001 So I get to the DZ with 93. Bust out a buncha RW & freefly jumps and ask some friends if they would help me get my SCS for my 100th. So we organize a 10-way where I'd come in last, do 2 wedges and back to the star for a double-eagle.Great, sounds like a plan. Good exit. I get in my slot and wait my turn. Then head in..... really fast. Took out the whole frickin 10-way. So we scramble back & actually re-establish the 10-way. Only I was in at #3 on the second try.So no SCS for me. Nothing like taking out your own celebration jump! ------------Blue Skies!Zennie

Zennie 0 #4 August 13, 2001 QuoteDid ya have fun, cuz that is all that matters!!!Yeah actually I had a lot of fun! twice in the same skydive. Then as I turn & track, I feel these taps on me feet. I'm thinking "What the F...?" So I look down and see one of the lady jumpers smiling & holding onto my feet. I started laughing, did a little "bye-bye" wave & tracked off.BTW. Same girl did her 500th today (for those of you that know Scotty Carbone, it was Tammi) ------------Blue Skies!Zennie

rainman 0 #7 August 13, 2001 Congrats on your 100th! My turn will probably come sometime next year!As was said before: if your 100th has to be crashed, who better to do it than you?!Rainman
 Zennie 0 #8 August 13, 2001 QuoteAs was said before: if your 100th has to be crashed, who better to do it than you?!It's a dirty job, but someone's gotta do it. Got 3 great jumps in on Sunday to make up for it. Two 2-way sits that went fantastic and a 4-way where I did a good job flying my slot. So I was pretty happy.------------Blue Skies!Zennie
 Grogs 0 #9 August 13, 2001 Congrats on your 100th Zennie. Don't feel bad at all about crashing it. It's YOUR skydive after all, so you can do whatever you want (within reason - don't kill anyone). I'm sure FFF wishes he could have been there for the pieing. He's quite skillful at it, just ask Stacy.
 Zennie 0 #10 August 13, 2001 QuoteI'm sure FFF wishes he could have been there for the pieingheh. And I learned ...dont run to keep the jump suit clean.... it only pisses them off when you try to stay clean enough to jump again.Do I HAVE to do another raft dive??? I just got a freefly jumpsuit (more on that in a different thread). All black. I look like Darth Vader with the black helmet, jumpsuit & rig. Hehehehe. Plus it's a nice contrast to my white RW suit. So now I truly have sort of a Yin/Yang, Good Side/Dark Side thing going. ------------Blue Skies!Zennie
 Join the conversation You can post now and register later.
