PalmettoTiger 1 #1 August 12, 2001 I'm back from a nearly fun (translated: non-skydiving) vacation and planning my return to NJ for school this fall. I'll have a car, a tent, (hopefully) a freshly minted A-license, and a week to go from SC to NJ. Specifically, the week from August 31st to September 7th. Any suggestions? X-Keys has the Labor Day Boogie Sep 1-3, but it kinda seems a waste to do the whole trip on the first weekend. Stacy 0 #2 August 12, 2001 I recommend the labor day boogie @ CK honestly. CASAs, big ways, Sunpath demos, etc etc... should be a blast!!!! It was last year!Stacyhttp://astro.temple.edu/~sweeks

freefallfreak 0 #5 August 13, 2001 Quote and bringing symbols of my homeland to the wilds of New Jersey. Don't cross that Mason-Dixon line with the symbol of our beloved state...it's bad enough that you are leaving...but to desecrate our homeland by taking our flag to a yankee state is unforgivable...(where is my musket?)...well, if ya' gotta' go, keep your head down and your powder dry...FFF
Grogs 0 #6 August 13, 2001 Hmm... I'd tell you to drop by Skydive Suffolk on your way up, but I'll most likely drive up to CK for the Labor Day boogie myself.
flyhi 24 #7 August 13, 2001 I love it when a guy driving a truck made in Detroit, wearing clothes made in New York, listening to a CD player made in Massachusetts on his way to New Jersey has a bumper sticker that says, "The South will rise again". Hmm, come to think of it, I guess I'm a nuclear physicist based on my degree: major in physics and minor in nuclear engineering.

Dutchboy 0 #10 August 13, 2001 If you want a cheap and totally random way to visit some DZ's then buy a copy of the Airport Facility Directory from your local airport FBO or pilot shop. There is an index in the back the shows all the airports with dropzones. The Dutchboyhttp://www.geocities.com/ppolstra

PLFKING 4 #12 August 14, 2001 Hey Dan --Stop by Adrenaline Air Sports in Moneta, VA.......the view at exit is gorgeous -- mountains, lakes, rivers, coves, islands, forest (oh,........and a few bikini-clad ladies hanging out on the houseboats....) can you say "water-landing?"The PLF CEO
freefallfreak 0 #13 August 14, 2001 PT,Quote i hope you're not referring to me. He is obviously behind the times, while stuck on that little island he lives on as trucks are mostly made in Japan and assembled here, clothes are made in sweat shops in Indoniesia, CD players are made in Taiwan, and New Jersey is not on anyone's list of favorite places to go. Have fun up there and stay out of trouble...but most of all, don't let our flag down...take some fireworks along and if ya' run into any Veterans's hospitals, fire off a bunch of the fireworks...it'll make for an interesting sight as someone yells "incoming" and everyone ducks...FFF
